I Built PaintVibe Because I Needed It

Hi, I’m Vanessa.
Back in 2016, I was burned out.
Like many people, I was juggling too much. Running a business, keeping up with life, constantly surrounded by screens. My mind rarely slowed down, and even when I tried to rest, it felt like I couldn't fully switch off.
I tried what most of us try. Meditation apps. Journaling. Long walks. They helped in small ways. But nothing truly held my attention long enough to create real, lasting calm.
Then something unexpected happened.
One evening, almost by accident, I picked up a paint by numbers kit.
I didn't expect much. Just something to keep my hands busy.
But within minutes, I noticed a shift.
My breathing slowed. The constant background noise in my head softened. I wasn't thinking about everything I had to do next. I was simply present.

For the first time in a long time, I felt still.
When I finished that first painting, I stepped back and looked at it. Really looked.
And what I felt surprised me.
